Welcome from our Pastor
Welcome to Reformation Lutheran Church! If you are checking Reformation out on the web, curious to learn more about us, let me tell you this first: this is a church that welcomes newcomers! I say that from my own experience as the new pastor! This is a place filled with warmth and enthusiasm, and I am confident you will find a welcome here.
You can also expect to find God’s love for you here. No matter where you are in life, no matter what your story, Jesus offers you unconditional love. At its best, “church” is a place where imperfect, unfinished people come together to be forgiven, healed, and strengthened by the grace of God. Shaped by Christ’s love, we can become part of his mission to bless this world with the grace we ourselves have been given. As we love each other, serve those in need, join together in fellowship, celebrate worship and prayer, and study God’s Word together, the Holy Spirit works to transform our lives.
With a new pastor comes a new season of life and ministry for Reformation. Having been led and sustained by him in the past, we are now looking to discover where God is calling us to go next. Maybe that sounds like you, too. Maybe you’re wondering what the next chapter of your story will be. Or maybe you’re having a hard time seeing how God has been in the picture at all. Or perhaps you’re hungry to go deeper in your walk of faith. Wherever you are, we welcome you to join us for worship, Bible study, and fellowship.
If you want to know more, feel free to call me at 302-422-9117, or email me at pr.evers.rlc@gmail.com. Also, for sermon “teasers” and follow-up reflections, as well as general thoughts about faith and life, you can friend me on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/pastor.eric.evers, or follow me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/mit4trs.
Here at Reformation, we are blessed to follow a Lord who leads us into new life. We invite you to come and get to know Jesus along with us. Come and see what God has in store for you in this family of faith!
In Christ,
Pastor Eric Evers
