Madison Dodge has been named “The Real Girl of the Year” by the American Girl Company for her volunteer efforts with the American Diabetes Association and for people with diabetes. She was selected as one of the three winners out of over 14,000 entries across the nation.

As part of her prize package, $5,000 will be donated to her local ADA chapter through her walk team, Madison’s Prayer. $5,000 will also be donated to her school, Milford Middle School. She will make an appearance and receive an award in New York at the American Girl Place on June 29th and will be featured on their website and in their catalog.
