Prayer
Covenant - Lent 2004-2005
In
the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen
God's
Mission for Us through God's grace, we commit ourselves as disciples
to heal hurts, to teach God's word,to discover God's joys, and
share the light, love and peace of Jesus Christ.
Relying
on our Father to accomplish these things in us and our congre
gation,
we covenant this year that each of us will pray for the mission
and ministry of Reformation Lutheran Church daily.
We
will pray for our Pastor, staff, congregation leaders, and all
in our congregation family.
Recognizing
that we are part of a larger church, we will pray also for the
leaders of the leaders of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in
America, especially our presiding Bishop, Mark, and our Synod
Bishop, Jerry.
May
God bless our covenant and journey together in prayer in 2004
for the sake of the Gospel, Mission and Ministry of Jesus Christ
our Lord. Amen.
